A few weeks ago, I traveled back to my home town of Rock Hill, SC where I met up with Angel, Danny, and their 6th month old son Drew.

He was great the whole day... look at that adorable smile!!

These next few are some of my favorites... Drew was getting tired so we just had the family relax on the grass.

Horns- Family Portraits

I am waaay behind on these posts! A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with the fabulous Horn family. The little princess of the clan is Emily. She is a sassy one and wanted to try on every tutu she owned for me. Below is one of my favorites from the day....

This past weekend I met with Donnell in NoDa.... One of my favorite areas of Charlotte. Donnell and I worked together at CBS Radio a fews years back. He wanted new pics for his portfolio. He mentioned during the shoot that he didn't like pictures of himself smiling, but I have to say that I respectfully disagree. Donnell has such a nice spirit and the smiling shots captured that! Enjoy...

There's nothing cuter than a little girl dressed up on Easter. Meet Hayden. She is a doll and a firecracker! She's also my adorable second cousin. Oh to have that energy again!

Hayden wanted to hold my camera.... I told her no but I'm sure this face has worked before ;)

She got over it!

This past weekend Lucy and I ventured to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. It's an awesome place to take your family on the weekend and right now they have a special exhibit that focuses on how the Southern garden has evolved over the years. All the flowers were in full bloom. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Ok.. enough of the serious pictures. After the living room shoot was done, Kristen (My fabulous model) and I had a little fun in the paint.

She is such a good sport! We flung paint all over her!

At the end of the day, Kristen wanted to send a special message to her boyfriend Matt who lives miles away in California. So cute...

The first day of Spring came out in full bloom and so did the people of Charlotte. I took advantage of the beautiful weather and scheduled two shoots for the day. My first photo shoot was with Tori. Tori was awesome to shoot and she made the day more fun by bringing multiple costume changes. Before the shoot, I found out that Tori was a writer. I wanted to somehow incoporate that into her shots so this is what I came up with. They ended up being some of my favorites from the day.
