Boggs {Family Portraits}

This past weekend, I traveled to the small town of Shelby, NC, where I spent the afternoon with the whole Boggs family. Uncles, Grandparents, cousins.... you name it and they were there! The photo shoot took place on their family land and was a Mother's Day gift from Kristen (the oldest daughter in the shoot) to her mom. The afternoon was beautiful and I had a lot of fun with this family!!

I love framing the subject (literally). I've collected old frames that I bring along to many of my shoots.

A few weeks ago, I traveled back to my home town of Rock Hill, SC where I met up with Angel, Danny, and their 6th month old son Drew.

He was great the whole day... look at that adorable smile!!

These next few are some of my favorites... Drew was getting tired so we just had the family relax on the grass.

This weekend I went to my friend Dani's baby shower. Dani has already been blessed with 7 year old twin girls and a 5 year old daughter. Now she is expecting a baby BOY!! The shower was held in the neighborhood clubhouse. Here are some of the pictures from that day.

The cake was amazing and was decorated to look like the lining of the crib.

My old CBS Radio co-worker Tia wanted some non traditional family shots. Her oldest son is an up and coming musician. I am a music junky myself so I knew immediately what I wanted for the shoot and where to take them to capture their beautiful spirits.
