Stephanie & Patrick {Engaged}

True high school sweethearts, Stephanie and Patrick have dated for an amazing 11 years now (since the 9th grade)! They are both graduates of Clemson University where they made an addition to their family when they adopted their dog, Harley, during 2007's Bowman field adopt-a-thon. I asked them both to describe their favorite qualities about one another. Here's what they said. In her words: My favorite quality about Pat is his stress free mentality & joy for life. He really does balance me out. While I'm a worry wart and try to plan every minute of my life to a T, he will often calm me down and assure me that things will work out and there's nothing to worry about. In his words: My favorite quality about Stephanie would have to be her eyes... I can tell exactly how she feels just by looking into them. Secondly, I love her smile... it's just beautiful.

Rachel {Class of 2011}

Oh, to be young again ;)

Meet Rachel- a super cute high school senior. Shooting with her reminded me of my old high school days... cheering at Friday night football games, gossiping about my latest crush, and wondering which college I'd get in to. There is a certain energy and enthusiasm that comes along with being a senior in high school... I enjoyed experiencing that again on this shoot! Good luck in college Rachel!!

Sarah & Zac {Engaged}

Recently, I traveled back to my old stomping grounds- Greenville, SC- for the engagement shoot of Sarah and Zac. This cute couple met at work and have been working together for the last five years. They don't mind seeing each other all the time though and recently joined together to start up Loggerhead Apparel (http://www.loggerheadapparel.com/), a company that supports sea turtle conservation efforts. Here are some of my favorites. Congrats Sarah and Zac!

Ryan & Lauren {Engaged}

Meet Ryan & Lauren. Lauren is an old sorority sister of mine from Clemson University (which is where she also met and started dating Ryan). There paths took them separate directions after college as they moved to different cities. Their paths crossed again a year later as Ryan was contemplating joining the United States Army. They reconnected and started dating. Their relationship grew the strongest while Ryan was at basic training and they had to write letters back and forth to each other for 4 months. The cute thing is, Ryan incorporated letters into his proposal to Lauren. This next picture i love... it definitely shows their personalities :)

Mother of Fashion

You may remember the next family from this recent photo shoot. Dani (the beautiful mother of FOUR) recently started a new blog about motherhood where she encourages women to be great mothers and look fabulous while doing so. Check out her website at http://www.motheroffashion.com/. Dani is a mother of 4 beautiful kids and she still looks fabulous!
This next picture is my favorite... little Charlie is so cute!

Fashion Shoot {Mooresville Barn}

I recently had the opportunity to shoot with some amazing photographers at an old barn in Mooresville. It began pouring down rain while we were there, but our models were troupers and still gave us some great shots. It was the first time that "natural light" wasn't a factor and it gave me the chance to work with a flash. This next shoot is my absolute favorite from the day.
